We’re committed to preserving your memories with the care and quality they deserve. Please review the following terms before submitting your materials.
We use professional-grade equipment to ensure the best possible transfer. However, due to the age and condition of older formats, we cannot guarantee flawless playback or audio quality. Potential issues may include:
- Tape warping, stretching, or breakage
- Magnetic dropout, distortion, or background noise
- Mold, dust, or water damage
- Skips or surface noise on vinyl
- Tracking or pixelation issues on VHS
Final output quality is limited by the condition of the source media.
All materials are handled with care. That said, older formats may be unstable and subject to deterioration during playback or restoration, especially if they exhibit:
- Sticky-shed syndrome (in magnetic tape)
- Cracked or warped casings
- Mold contamination
- Brittle or dried-out materials
By submitting your materials, you acknowledge this inherent risk and agree that Sonic Temple East is not liable for any damage resulting from preexisting defects or natural degradation.
Unless otherwise requested, your original media will be returned to you upon completion of the transfer process. We strongly encourage you to back up your digital files once received.
Digital files can be delivered via:

- External hard drive or USB (additional charge)
- CD/DVD (upon request)

Turnaround times may vary depending on order size, media condition, and restoration needs. Rush services are available for an additional fee. For bulk or archival projects, custom quotes and timelines will be provided.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to reproduce or digitize submitted content. Sonic Temple East does not accept liability for unauthorized duplication of copyrighted material.
We reserve the right to refuse any material suspected of violating copyright or intellectual property laws.
In the unlikely event of loss or irreparable damage, Sonic Temple East’s liability is limited to the total cost of services provided. We are not responsible for the emotional, historical, or sentimental value of original materials.
